Hi there,

We are planning a 13 day trip from 25 May to 7 June.

While our itinerary is not final yet, we have planned the following for now:
* We will land in Narita airport, Tokyo on 25 May and need to travel to our hotel * Spend 3 days in Tokyo * Travel to Kyoto + spend 3-4 days in Kyoto * Travel to Osaka + spend 2-3 days in Osaka * Travel to Hiroshima + spend 2-3 days in Hiroshima * Travel back to Tokyo + spend 2-3 days in Tokyo * Flight from Narita airport.

We will travel extensively within the cities we plan to stay in (using the rail lines).
We are also open to taking day trips from any of the cities we are staying in (for example - day trip to Nara from Kyoto)

Please let us know if the JR pass makes sense for us, or if some alternative is recommended.

Thank you!
A

Hi there,

I think a JR Pass is a great option for your itinerary - you'll be making several trips using the Shinkansen and are also planning day trips, meaning it's likely that it'll be a cost-effective option.

Hope this helps!

Alexis
