14 day green pass

I’m traveling with 4 seniors for 15 days. We are flying in to Kumamoto. Our itinerary is likely to be the following:

3 nights in Kumamoto
2 nights in Miyajima
3 nights in Wakayama
1 night at Koya-San
3 nights in Gujo Hachiman
2 nights in Nagoya

Possible day trips from Gujo Hachiman to Kyoto.

We would require reserved seatings for the elderly, thus the green pass.

Would it be a cost savings to get a JR green pass on this itinerary?

Hi there, apologies for the late reply!

Because you're travelling with elderly people the green pass is a very good idea, and while it may cost slightly more than purchasing tickets individually it'll make the process of reserving seats and moving around a lot easier.

Hope this helps!
