Hello, Can you please advise if I am cramming too much into my itinerary and whether I need to add / or omit a city. Also Would I need the 14 day JR pass as the most economical & fastest option.
1) Tokyo (1.5 days)
2) Nikko Day ( 1 Day)
3) Hakone - Lake Ashinoko (1 day)
4)Kyoto (4 nights including day in Nana)
5) Himeji ( passing through - short visit while on route to Miyajima)
5) Hiroshima (short trip while on route to Miyajima (1 night)
6) Kanazawa ( 2 nights)
7)Takayama 1 night
8) Tokyo ( 1 night)

Thank you.

Hello,

Your itinerary looks great! I understand you want to see as much as you can while you're there.

You can enjoy hassle-free travel across Japan with a 14-day Nationwide JR Pass. This pass simplifies your journey by covering most JR train lines, including the Shinkansen. Please remember to make seat reservations for your Shinkansen rides.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
