Hi all!
We are a newlywed couple from Australia planning our honeymoon in Japan from 8th April til 18th April.
I was hoping if somebody can have a look at our itinerary and check our mode of transport.

8th- Arrive at Haneda in the morning. Tour in Tokyo, Akihabara, Tokyo Tower, Ikebukuro etc (24hr Tokyo metro pass)
9th- Harajuku, Shinjuku etc (24hr Tokyo metro pass)
10th- train to Mount Fuji around midday, (JR 7-day pass)
11th- train to Nagoya midday (JR 7-day pass)
12th- train to Kyoto midday (JR 7-day pass)
13th- Kyoto (JR 7-day pass)
14th- train to Osaka in the morning (JR 7-day pass)
15th- train to Hiroshima in the morning (JR 7-day pass)
16th- train to Fukuoka around late afternoon (JR 7-day pass)
17th- Fukuoka (day pass ?)
18th- Ferry to Busan 9am

It is a very tight schedule but we hope we can see as much as we can! While we are in each cities we are planning to move around via rail and buses. So will buying 2 24-hour Tokyo metro pass, 7-day JR pass and maybe whatever the day pass in Fukuoka work for the travel plan?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

I think your plan works great! In terms of the Fukuoka day pass, it may just be cheaper to purchase a prepaid travel card such as a SUICA or PASMO but this depends on how much you're planning on using the public transport in the area.

Hope this helps!
