Hi Daniel!

Hope this finds you well; was hoping to get some feedback (not sure I got this right) regarding my 1 week trip in October - wanted to confirm that the 7 day JR Pass will cover the following (I have only included the long legs of the trip for your feedback)?

Oct. 20: Narita Airport to Shinjuku (Activate Rail Pass for Narita Express?)

Oct. 21: Shinagawa to Kyoto (Rail Pass for Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen (not Nozomi or Mizuho)) then Kyoto to Tsuruga via JR Kosei Line (Rail Pass) then Tsuruga to Obama via Obama Line JR (Rail Pass)

Oct. 23: Obama to Tsuruga via Obama Line JR (Rail Pass) then Tsuruga to Osaka via JR Thunderbird (Rail Pass) then Osaka to Tsukamoto via Tokaido-Sanyo JR (Rail Pass)

Your feedback/advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi Mari,

Looks like a fun trip! Yes, the JR Pass will cover all these routes. What are you doing after Osaka?
