Dear sir, madam,

Can you give us advice what to do:
we will be travelling in Japan from the 29th of Octobre till the 12th of november. We start and end our journey in Tokyo. We are thinking about:
Tokyo (2 days)
Mount Fuji (2days)
Kyoto (4 days, with possible dayvisits to other places like Kobe or Otsu)
Nara (1 day)
Hiroshima (1-2) days)
Tokyo (2 days)
Which train pass/passes will be best suited? And if a slight change in our itinairy will save us a lot of money we would like to hear so:)
Thank you very much!

kind regards
BIrgit

Hi Birgit,

You could either use a 7 day JR Pass for travel to Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima and back to Tokyo, or use a 14 day JR Pass for the same route and a bit more travel. The 7 day JR Pass will be more economic when used to make the return to Tokyo, while the 14 day JR Pass will give you more flexibility.

Both options will help you save money.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
