We are going to stay together two week in Japan (in the start of June). Thats all that's been planned. We will start from Tokyo, but I need to know is there a what kind of things to see near bye. I know about Disney and Ghibli museum, but I really like to know more. I'm thinking of taking with me a little travel carriage for the kid, but If I've learn it right, there is a lot of stairs everywhere. Maybe I'll take one that I can flatten?

But, give me a lot ideas what to do! I'm a first timer and I could use some advice. Thanks.

Hi there!

I took some time to think about this one, I am not a parent myself so my advice may be of limited use.

First the practical stuff, most JR stations are equipped for wheelchair users, think about elevator access to platforms and other helpful aids. So using a carriage should be no problem!

Now to possible things to do and see, will you be staying in Tokyo or visiting other places as well?
First take a look at this website for visiting Tokyo with kids it has a lot of interesting places to visit.

Something else of interest may be Puro Land home to Hellow Kitty.

I could probably tell me what kinds of things you would be interesting in visiting, then I may be able to give you some better matching ideas.

I hope this helps!

Kyoto is great! I'd recommend visiting the following places.

Fushimi Inara the thousands of Tori gates are amazing and great fun for young and old!

ArashiYama this is a very beautiful area, lots to do and there's a money park!

Toei Uzumasa Eigamura or movie village, is a theater where you can see traditional Japan in action, there are Geisha, Samurai and even hidden Ninja's.

Hi there!

Yes there's an Aquarium in Kyoto an other one not too far from Kyoto is the Osaka Aquarium which is one of the most famous in the world. It's about 90 minutes from Kyoto and even has penguins!
