I would like to know if it is better to buy a JRPass if we would like to go from
TOKYO to KYOTO - on the 17.03.16 - stay 2 nuits in Kyoto
KYOTO to NARA - on the 19.03.16 - stay 2 nuits in Nara
Nara to Tokyo - on the 21.03.16 -
We will be 6 adultes

Hello Tarreau,
I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass if you can cover Tokyo - Kyoto - Nara - Tokyo with it. A 7 day JR Pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto using the Shinkansen. Now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price.
Travel between the places you plan to visit is included and it would also be possible to use the JR Pass on local JR lines within cities.
