Hi!
Been researching on the cheapest yet efficient to get to Ghibli Park in Aichi from Tokyo. I also thought it will be more efficient if we come from Aichi to Mt. Fuji before heading back to Tokyo.
I'm traveling with 2 kids and open to the thought of getting a hotel overnight in Aichi thinking it give us more time at Ghibli Park and save the time from traveling a similar path from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko. Or am I wrong to assume this?

What JRP Pass is recommended for this route? These two destinations are the only ones we'll visit outside of Tokyo.

Thank you in advance!

Hi there,

There is no JR Pass that helps you save money with this travel plan, so my advice would be to buy normal train tickets.

It can be a good idea to get a hotel close to the park, and start early the next day to get the most out of your visit.

Kind regards,
Daniel
