Hi, I read on the JR-West website that there is a Sanyo Shinkansen Discounted One Way Ticket that I would like to use from Shin-Osaka Station to Hakata Station. It offers significant savings from the normal price. The website states that you have to purchase an Exchange order (E-ticket) from travel agencies outside of Japan but does not supply a list of the agencies. Once you get the exchange order you can pick up the ticket at select train stations in Japan. I contacted 2 travel agencies in Hawaii that sell the Japan Rail Pass and neither of them knew what I was talking about. They could get me the shinkansen ticket at regular price and have it delivered to my hotel in Japan, but that service would also tack on an additional $40 service fee. Where can I find the list of agencies that sells the exchange order for this ticket?
