I saw a video on you tube that showed Jr train seats rotating so that they face each other. Is this really possible? We are travelling as a family of 4 adults so this would be great!

Hi there!
YES! I can confirm that every Shinkansen (bullet train) and limited express train on the JR have this option.
Seats are automatically faced toward the travel direction (its pretty cool to see happen), than you can manually turn them to each other as you like.
