Osaka to Gala Yuzawa

Hi,

We want to visit Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort from Osaka on January 2019 but not sure on the details yet.
Can you help us by answering the following questions below please.

  1. How to travel from Osaka Station to Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort?
  2. Will JR Pass cover all train stations from Osaka to Yuzawa?
  3. How many hours is the travel time?
  4. Are the train stations open as early as 5:00 AM?
  5. Do we need a reservation in Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort?
  6. Is there an entrance fee?
  7. Any other fee in the resort?

Hi Vivian,

1.) Take the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo, then to Yuzawa.

2.) Yes

3.) Expect around 5 hours of travel, including transfer time.

4.) Trains will start service around 6 am.

5.) It depends what you want to do, you don't for just winter fun :)

6.) Yes, it depends on the package you want. Check the Gala Yuzawa website for details.

7.) Same as 6 :)
