I heard that Nohi bus give over 50% discount for bus ticket rate on Matsumoto-Takayama round trip for JR pass holder.
Are there any other promotions for Takayama-Shirakawago round trip bus ticket, Takayama-Shinnotaka route and Takayama-Matsumoto route on single trip.
Do you know if Takayama-Matsumoto bus service also operate during December winter time?

The 50% discount on this route is [only available for JR-East pass holders]I"m afraid, and is not available for holders of the nationwide JR Pass. This is because Takayama is outside the JR-East travel zone. Nohi bus does not current offer any other discounts to JR Pass holders.
The Takayama - Matsumoto bus service does operate throughout winter, but will be affected by weather and heavy snowfall.
