Where do I place my 'medium size suitcase' on the Shinkansen from Shinagawa to Kyoto on the Shinkansen?. Are there designated luggage racks?. Will my luggage be safe?. My first time on Shinkansen this November. Thank you.

Hi there,
Most Shinkansen have place to store a couple of suitcases at the end of each train wagon. Smaller items can be places above you in the overhead compartment. Most Shinkansen don't have a huge luggage space, so try to limited the amount you take with you. Two medim size suitcases should be no problem though.
