Luggage storage for 4 days at Shinjuku station

I have planned to visit Japan on Apr 9-16. The first 4 days, I planned to go to Kawaguchiko and Hakone before come back to stay in Tokyo for the last 4 days at Shinjuku area.

So, I would like to leave one of my luggage at the Shinjuku station for the first 4 days. I though the coin locker is applicable for 3 days and the officer will empty the locker. Where could I take my luggage back? Does the service fee for the day 4 is the same rate or any extra fee will apply?

Alternativly, are there any luggage room/storage in the Shinjuku station that I could leave my luggage for 4 days? Where is it and how much it cost? Thank you in advance for the answer. :)

Hi there,

I do not recommend leaving your luggage in luggage lockers that the maximum allowed time. It could be a pain getting it back and there may be a penalty fee of several thousand yen.

Its better to use a cloakroom service to store your luggage for a couple of days and then collect it. There's one at Tokyo station for instance.

Many thanks Daniel-San for the answer.
It gave me a bit concern. I would prefer to leave my luggage in Shinjuku area which is the center of my plan. And I also booked Kadoya hotel for my stay in Tokyo.
Are there any place near by Shinjuku Station provide the luggage storage?

While I was unable to find any near Shinjuku station. This does not mean that there are none.

Tokyo is not that far from Shinjuku on the JR Chuo line.
