Hi Daniel,

I'm planning to travel around Japen in May 2015 and below is my itinerary:-

Kansai ---> Osaka (3days)
Osaka ---->. Kyoto (2 days)
Kyoto ----> Toyoma (1day)
Toyoma ----> Kurobe Alphine, Omachi (2 days)
Omachi ----> Takayama (2days)
Takayama ----> Nagoya (2 days)

Would appreciate your advice on the option for the transport in relation to the above places.

Thank you.

Jess

Hello Jess,

I checked whether a JRPass would be useful here but it would be more economic to buy normal tickets for this one as you travel. There are different discount packages available around the Hokuriku area and it could be worth it to look into them. I don't know one directly which would benefit this route but I certainly don't exclude it.

All travel is best done using rail travel, the only part where this is not fully possible is between.

Have a great trip!
Daniel
