I would like to travel
1.Kansai airport to Imazato and I will spend 2 nights in Osaka
2.from Imazato to Kyoto shiyagusho-mae and I will spend 2 nights in Kyoto
3.from Kyoto shiyagusho-Mae to Tsurumai and I will spend 2 nights in Nagoya
4.from Tsurumai to Kawafuchiko we will not go anywhere just spend a night at hotel
5.from Kawafuchiko to Tokyo and we will spend 3 nights in Tokyo

It's cheaper to buy separate pass from big city to big city but I'm not sure if Jr pass will cover everything if I would like to travel in city. Please let me know if I should buy Jr pass.

Hi there,

For this route I recommend buying normal tickets. A JR Pass is great for a return Kansai - Tokyo but your route is mostly a one way route from Kansai - Tokyo with different stops on the way. Here it would simply be cheaper to buy normal tickets.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
