I'm afraid I won't arrive in time

I live in Brazil, I requested the pass on 15/01 and so far, today is 26/01 and I travel on 06/02. I'm worried that the pass won't arrive in time and I wanted to know if I'll still be able to activate my la pass in Japan. I've already contacted Fedex and they haven't resolved the situation yet. I'm just waiting, but I really wanted to know if I'm not going to lose my money.

I see that many JR customers are worried about the same situation. Wouldn't it be easier to release using a QR code or a receipt via cell phone instead of all this trouble with delivery? it's just a suggestion

Hi there,

I understand your concerns but unfortunately our company solely distributes the JR Pass and is not responsible for its method of distributing the exchange order, although I believe they cite security as the reason for requiring a physical copy.

You can contact [email protected] to try and have your pass mailed to your accommodation in Japan, this could be an option worth looking into.
