First time to Japan, will arrive tomorrow at 220 pm at Haneda , need to go to Kanazawa, will stay there five days , don’t want to buy a rail pass, I like to go cheaper like a train , what train , I know there a few different line , I like to get there before to late , 9- 10 pm thank u

Hi there,
There's not really a viable rail alternative to the Shinkansen. If you want to save some money, consider a Hokuriku Arch Pass instead, you can use it on the Shinkansen back and forth from Kanazawa and save well compared to buying normal tickets.
