Hello, I used the savings calculator for a 7 day trip going from Tokyo to Kanazawa, Kanazawa to Kyoto, Kyoto to Osaka, it gave me an amount of $148 US Dollars, which is less than half than the 7 Day pass of $338 US Dollars.
Is this amount correct? and if so, will I be using high speed trains?
Thanks for your attention

Hi there,
Between Tokyo and Kanazawa you’ll be using high-speed trains, between Kanazawa and Kyoto you’ll be using a mix of both, and between Kyoto and Osaka I’d recommend local train. The amount is correct but won’t be fully accurate as prices will fluctuate very minutely depending on different services.
Kind regards,
Alexis
