Hi, hope anyone can help me. Im planning to go from osaka to mt fuji during my trip. Unfortunately ive booked my mt fuji trip and accommodation already so i cant alter it. Whats the best way to travel to kawaguchiko from osaka using the JR pass? I realised it may take up to 5hrs. Is there a way to minimise that? I was considering of purchasing a hakone free pass but im guessing it may not be worth it as my day will be consumed of travelling from kawaguchiko to gotemba station as well. Ive heard there are lockers that we can leave luggage in. Is that accessible in gotemba station? Please help. Thank you!

Hello there,
Travel from Osaka to Kawaguchiko looks like this using rail travel.
Alternatively you can use the Shinkansen to Mishima station and use this express bus. This is slightly faster but the bus is not covered by the JR Pass.
There are indeed coin lockers at Gotemba and Kawaguchiko station.
