From Narita Airport to Ikebukuro and Tokyo (Yokohama) port

Hello Cate,

I'd advise using the Narita Express from Narita to Ikebukuro station, this is a direct route and will cost around 3,200yen.

Alternatively you could use the Narita Express to Tokyo station and from there take the Yamanote line to Ikebukuro.

Tokyo and Yokohama port are very big, could you give me a bit more information where you need to be? The address or building for instance. It's impossible with the current information to give you a good route.

I have called the cruise liner and the port we are embarking from is 1-1-4, Kaigandori, Naka-ku, Yokohama, 231-0002, Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal.

The metro station for the pier is Nihon-Odori, here is an example itinerary on how to get there from Ikebukuro.

Sorry to bother you again. Could you advise how frequent the Narita Express runs from the airport to Ikebukuro station as we are arriving at 1440 on 12 May 2015? We are only in Tokyo for 3 days and are we able to purchase the rail tickets in advance from Australia?

Hello there,

Here is the complete Time Table. There's unforunately not direct train to Ikebukuro at your arrival time.

My advise would be to take the Narita Express to Shinjuku and take the Yamanote line from there to Ikebukuro.
