Hakuba Valley Ski Areas is 1st on list of my 12 day trip. Plan on using 5 Consecutive Days of my Epic Pass. Then I have 7 Days or so to explore. Like to go see Kyoto, brief stop in Hamamatsu, then Tokyo last night. Is this do able on this JR Pass. Also is it Easier tracking with Snowboard bag to use First class? Storage for board bag after Hakuba???
Thinking I will just buy a one way to Nagano, then my 7 Day Pass JRPass???
Hi there,
There is not a lot more space in 1st class carriages for luggage than in ordinary class but less people travel 1st, so you may have a better chance to find a good spot for your great that way.
In terms of a JR Pass, a 7 day pass would work well if used for travel from Hakuba - Kyoto - Hamatsu - Tokyo and possible to the airport.
