Exchange method for JR Takayama Hokuriku pass

Hi Tony,

This type of pass can only be exchanged at the major stations within it's coverage area. Tokyo is unfortunately outside.

Thank you for your shortly advice. So, can I be exchanged at JR Takayama station?
Due to my plan, I will travel from Kawaguchiko via Matsumoto then take Nohi bus to Takayama. That's the reason why I have to find a station to be designated this ticket.

Yes you can activate it at Takayama station, so that may be the best option.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for the information. I think the exchange locations may have been updated to include more places. The situation used to be very different and it was very hard to exchange the pass. You can assume that the website is correct.
