Hi, I'm planning on visiting Japan early March 2019. Can I easily purchase a Bullet Train pass from Kyoto to Tokyo on the same day? Would it be cheaper if ticket was purchased 1 or 2 days prior to departure? Thank you.

Yes, you can.
Generally there is no price difference when purchased 1-2 days in advance.

Thank you Daniel. How often does the train run daily from Koyto to Tokyo? Fair is about 13,000 yen right? I don't think I will need a "reserve" seat, correct? Thank you Daniel.
