Hello what is the quickest and easiest route to get from kyoto to nozawa onsen?
This will be on the 7th of January 2016.
How much would this cost? When and were do we purchase tickets?

The best route looks like this.
Feel free to adjust the time/date at the bottom of the page I linked.
Tickets can be purchased at any JR train station in Japan, the JR Pass also covers this route.
