Is it worth to buy 7 days pass for the following: -
3/11/13 from haneda airport to kyoto and to travel around Kyoto (by bus and train)
5/11/13 from Kyoto to osaka
7/11/13 osaka to Tokyo
can we also use the pass to travel in JR bus within the city in Kyoto, osaka and tokyo?
can we also purchase osaka universal ticket?
is there any discount for senior citizen age 60 and above?

After Tokyo, will you return to Osaka to fly back home or fly out of Tokyo?
The JR Pass would be a good option if you do return to Osaka, this because it is about the same price as a normal return ticket between Tokyo and Osaka. However I think it may be better to buy normal tickets if you will stay in Tokyo / Fly out of Tokyo after your 7 days of travel.
The JR Pass does cover local JR buses and JR trains around Kyoto and inside Tokyo and Osaka, do note that many buses and other kinds of transport such as the Tokyo Metro are run by different companies that do not accept the JR Pass.
The JR Pass is already a very discounted ticket and generally no further discount is given (eg for students or senior citizen).
