Hi - with the follwing itinerary would it be worth purcahsing a JR Pass, there will be two of us.

Days 1 - 3: Tokyo – Sat 31.08.24/ Sun. 01.09.24 / Mon. 02.09.24
Day 4 : day trip from Tokyo – KAMAKURA and HAKONE – Tues. 03.09.24
Day 5 : day trip from Tokyo – NIKKO – Wed. 04.09.24
Days 6 - 9: Kyoto - Thurs. 05.09.24 / Fri. 06.09.24 / Sat. 07.09.24 / Sun. 08.09.24
Day trips: Miyajima Island, Hiroshima, Nara & Himeji
Day 10 - 11 : Osaka – Mon. 09.09.24 / Tues. 10.09.24
Day 12: Osaka to Narita

Hi there,

I would suggest purchasing your tickets individually, as you'll be visiting areas where travel isn't entirely covered by the JR Pass. Also, because you'll be staying 12 days it means that a 14-day pass would leave two days go to waste.
